Currently the alternative is the owner of the lot would tow your car. Can someone say they'd prefer that to a boot?

Most people who work downtown pay $40 (or more) for that privilege. For those who don't need monthly passes there are a number of paid lots and parking spaces. The new payment system has lots of faults, but it's better than getting the boot. Just walk the 2 minutes it takes to go from a lot to your destination, it's not like downtown is that big.

You just know that no matter how well placed and large the sign is there will still be people who will complain and try to make this a public issue. Trying to find some way to make it not their fault.

As usual the driving practices in this city whether in motion or stationary are horrendous.
