I would expect that a large development would have to have a parking structure of its own. I doubt that a parking garage by itself would be financially viable as parking is really cheap downtown. I'll be keeping my eyes open for any news on this site. Hopefully the community can come together and insist that this site be developed properly. I think the City should encourage development beyond parking for this prime real estate. Perhaps a parking complex on Brunswick to serve commercial/residential development on King St would be the way to go.
